Future of the Internet and Web

After discussing the Semantic Web or Web 3.0 in my blog here yesterday, I thought it will be useful to provide the view of World Wide Web Consortium on future of the web.

According to the WWW consortium, the future of the web will have the following 6 characteristics:
1. Richer User Experience
2. Browse With Eyes, Ears, Voice and Touch
3. Web for Everyone
4. Web on Everything
5. Advanced Data Searching and Sharing
6. Trust and Confidence
